75 Years of Sign-Making Excellence

In the early 1930s, Georges Claude, the inventor of neon tubes sold franchises in the United States. Buffalo was one of the early franchise’s and eventually became Eastern Signs located at 75 Bird Avenue, Buffalo. The company was then sold in 1986 to Neal and Dennis Wilcox, changing it’s name to Wilcox Brothers Sign and moved to a new location in Tonawanda. With business expanding beyond Western New York, the company changed its name to its current name: Empire State Signs.
