Located in Camden, New Jersey, the Martin Aaron Superfund Site spans a large property that operated for over 30 years as a drum reconditioning facility. After the facility ceased operations in 1998, contaminants including arsenic, PCBs, VOCs, and other hazardous chemicals were found in the site’s soils and groundwater.

To address the immediate risks to human and environmental health, a series of interim remedial measures were implemented. Phase I, OU-I of the cleanup effort was later awarded to Sevenson Environmental Services through a competitive bidding process.
